Every year I make pounds and pounds of homemade Rocky Road Candy! It is SO good!
This year my middle daughter thought it would be fun to make it together when I came down for a visit. She was right! It’s definitely more fun to be up to your elbows in chocolate with someone else. We made multiple batches and this year we’ll both be giving it out to friends, co-workers and neighbors.
The first step in making it is to put on a cute holiday apron and crank up the Christmas music!
It’s really very easy, just three simple ingredients: good milk chocolate, marshmallows and pecans (or walnuts). That’s it!
CHOP……….MELT………MIX…….LET SET………AND PACKAGE IT UP!

Enjoy!!! Life is Sweet!

I am drooling!!!!!!! Mmmmm, DELISH! I want some….like now;)
Drooling over here. I’m betting this doesn’t fit into my high protein, low carb diet.
Wow! This looks DELISH! You should do more food photography in addition to all your other stuff, because I am craving the Rocky Road now!
Wow, Rennee, you’ve been busy! I’m loving all your recent sessions, and the rocky road, oh my, looks delish!
Gorgeous, Renee! It’s packaged so beautifully, I would have a hard time opening it and eating it. Ok, who am I kidding. I would rip through that like a tornado in Kansas but still. You ought to sell that stuff at the Farmer’s Market!! I bet people would buy it by the truckload.
That seems simple enough that even I could make them!!! Great pics!
Looks delicious!! I love Evie’s comment, and would have to agree with how fast it would be eaten at my house!
My mouth is seriously watering right now. I need to go get a napkin!
Gosh…it seems that none of that made it with my Christmas card.
LOL! Looks fun and yummy!
