Renee Whiting Photography-Santa Cruz, CA Photographer » Santa Cruz, CA Newborn and Child Photographer

  • Welcome to Renee Whiting Photography

I'm a part-time on-location photographer in Santa Cruz, CA, specializing in newborns and toddlers. I love my sessions with the little ones and hope it shows in my work. If you like what you see, I hope you'll use the "contact" button and drop me an email so we can get a session scheduled for you. If you are interested in scheduling a newborn session, please contact me approx. a month before your due date and I'll "pencil" you in.

All newborn sessions are now done in the comfort of your home. I will bring along everything I need, including: backdrops, hats/bows, blankets, wraps, baskets and even studio lighting if needed.

All other sessions are done outdoors. Santa Cruz offers many beautiful settings including one of our many parks or beaches.

Along with photography, I love entertaining, whether it's hosting a party, a large family BBQ or simply a dinner for two. I also enjoy gardening, my home, an occasion craft and family & friends. Don't be surprised if you see a post totally non-photography related. It's just who I am, a little mish-mash of this and that.

Please be aware that I'm currently at that "time" in my life when I'm often out of town. We love to travel whether it's for business or pleasure. Combine that with our children and grand babies that live out of town and you never know where you'll find me. Given my irregular schedule please know that I'm not always available on a short notice.

    Blessings,
    Renee

This is a story of FAITH, HOPE, and LOVE!

I’ve been blessed by a friendship of a beautiful family facing cancer. My gift to her is to help her document her journey. You may remember the photos I took of Alisha and her son Van. A week or so later she decided it was time to shave her head. She knew it was only a matter of time before chemo would take her hair, so she gathered with some friends and family and took matters into her own hands.

The raw emotions of the evening are beyond words, take a look for yourself. And, please, as you’re waiting for the slideshow to load, say a little prayer for Alisha and her family.

I have never seen anything so moving in all my life. It was hard to watch because of the tears in my eyes. Christ was glorified that day!!!ReplyCancel
