Baby Stella was 18 days old when I finally got my hands on her!! Her mom contacted me months ago about her session. I remember her sweet voice when I picked up the phone, “Hi Renee, I think we know each other. I played basketball with your daughter.” Well yes, they did in fact play basketball together. Years and years ago, back when they were in the 8th grade, they played on an All-Star team together (and if I remember correctly, they did very well). I love that our town still has such a small town feel to it!
Well, Baby Stella’s mom is all grown up now, married and has her very own little future basketball star! But in the meantime, it’s all pink for this little one!

This was my first newborn session in my new MINIstudio. Overall I think it went well and it certainly was great not having to haul everything that goes along with a newborn session to a clients home. Thank you so much for being my “guinea pig!” I look forward to many more newborn and toddler sessions in the comfort of my little home studio.
