There are so many variations of making your own trail mix. I saw one recently when I was blog browsing and thought it would be fun to make up my own variety. I tried to keep it somewhat healthy. I read recently that nuts are a good fat, so I added the two that I thought were of the healthier variety. You don’t know how badly I wanted to add cashews and chocolate chips (in addition to everything I did add). I refrained from doing so.
Not really a recipe, I just used approximately two cups of each ingredient and mixed together in a large bowl.
I went with a simple little packaging, using items I had on hand. I think these will be cute to give as a little hostess gift (or maybe I’ll send some to my hubby’s office).
