This session has been a long time coming. We’ve been trying to get this session on the calendar for months, but for one reason or another, we kept needing to postpone it. Finally, yesterday I loaded up my car and made my way over the hill to San Jose and met them at their home for our session. It was very nice to finally meet you Little Miss Savannah (and Mr. & Mrs. B)!

I’m sure you’ve been all holding your breath in anticipation of my 2010 “Newborn Blessings” packages………. So, without a bunch of rambling, here you go:

I just do! I can’t help myself, I always have and always will! I could hold a newborn all day long and would much rather be playing with a tot than socializing with adults! I’m not sure what that says about me, but I just love me some little ones! This isn’t a new realization, but it is for me in photography! I love big kids, and teens and families too, but I LOVE photographing little ones, especially newborns!!
What is this post about anyways?? Really it’s to announce a couple of new “Newborn Blessings” packages, but instead I’d rather talk write about newborns. Seriously, I get all gushy inside!! I just want to smooch on them (don’t worry, unless you’re family, I won’t, unless I have your permission).
Ok, down to business……
I’m excited to say that with the exception of a small increase in my “session fee,” I won’t be raising any prices in 2010. I will be making a few pricing structure changes however, to include the addition of two new packages for the “little ones.” I will also be offering a regular portrait package that includes the DVD of images (because I know you want them). All these changes will be effective February 1st. Check back in the next few days and I’ll have them posted for you!
And because I can’t post without a photo, I quickly grabbed a few of my favorite images and made a slideshow. As you’ll be able to tell by watching, this is seriously random, but hopefully it gives you an idea of why I love doing what I do!
…. while I make a few changes and updates! I’m in the process of searching out a “gallery option” for my site and just haven’t found one that I love. I’m hoping that in the next day or so, I’ll have it figured out and up and current.
In the meantime, I’ll share that I am so excited for 2010! I recently attended PPA’s Imaging USA in Nashville and came away thoroughly excited about business. Well, really I came away REALLY REALLY TIRED, but after two straight days of sleep, I’m refreshed and ready to go! While at Imaging, I attended 11 classes and spent probably 10 hours at the trade show! Talking about being a kid in a candy store! Wow, there was so much to see and do! I almost came home with a new camera, but decided that my husband would probably not let me attend again if I was making those kinds of purchases. I can safely say, that I really didn’t spend too much! I did order some new albums, DVD cases and a baby poser! I’m pretty excited about those! Oh, and the darling little ruffled butt newborn panties are pretty dang cute! Once everything arrives, I’ll be posting about some new products and props……I can’t wait for you all to see everything!
In the meantime, because I need to add a photo to my post, I’ll share my newest eBay purchase! How cute will a newborn look on this???
